The band was born in the spring of 2006 from five musicians with decennial experience, and it features a direct sound, powerful and overwhelming, but not trite or oversimplified at all costs, as some rock n roll nowadays trends seem to dictate.
The musical influences of the bands members are totally various and different, embracing about every subgenre of both rock and metal music, thus creating a fresh and interesting final result.
The band has released two promo cds (PROMO 2007 and GASOLINE ROCK MOTHERFUCKERS, the first one a three-track cd, the second a five-track), it has taken part in the Nella Mischia Vol.1 compilation, published by the independent label Milosci Records. It has performed live with enthusiastic feedbacks, also sharing the stage with Too Rude (UK), Eurosmith (IT), Adam Bomb (USA), Motorcity Brags (IT), Soul Shakers (IT), Hollywood Vampires (IT), Arizona Dogs (IT), Lucky Bastards (IT), Backstage Heroes (IT), Sundust (AUT) and others.
In November 2009 Warnipples have been chosen by the renowned Living Colour (USA) as their opening act for the Turin gig of their world tour; this has been the only time in more than twenty years of career in which Living Colour allowed an amateur band to play as opening band during one of their gigs.
In July 2010, the band won the second prize at the New Bands Competition during the Notte delle Chitarre (The Night of the Guitars) open air in Aramengo (Asti). Among the judges of the Competition there were Mario Schilirò (Zucchero Fornaciari Band) and Max Cottafavi (has-been Ligabue Band).Have you performed in front of an audience?these below are some of the venues we played in:
