Hi I'm Lucas Keenen, I play in the progressive/experimental death metal band called Scavenger. We're from Champaign, IL. I joined the band in the summer of '09 and began writing most of the music and here we areThe band formed in early 2008, I joined in the summer of '09 and there were three guitarists. We've just been dealing with many line-up changes and finding the right people but we have a good mix this time I think. Hopefully you think so too!Have you performed in front of an audience?I, personally, amd inspried by Between the Buried and Me, Periphery, Cynic, Veil of Maya, Sleep Terror, Shawn Lane was an absolute monster and one of the best ever, Arsis, Necrophagist, Misha Mansoor especially, Martyr, Exivious, Animals as Leaders, Malcolm Pugh is a beast, I wish I was him haha.I play a Steinberger Spirit and an Epiphone Les Paul(w/Dimebucker) through a Line 6 Spider II live and a Marshall JCM 200 TSL but I'm fixing it currently. We're upgrading to Line 6 Pod's for recording and live too though!I hope you like our music and all of the other songs I post that are unrelated. Support metal and keep true music alive!
