What up, this is Age. Thanks for checking out my music. Feedback is greatly appreciated. Feel free to play critic, for I am human and have been known to not be perfect.
Band/artist history
My "band" history goes back to when I started rhyming with a "band" (two of my friends; a drummer and a guitarist) in '96. From then I continued writing and in '98 I picked up DJ'ing. After transfering to Rutgers Univ. I got put on to one of the hip-hop radio shows there where i learned mic presence and gained confidence. I would spit a freestyle or a written everyonce in a while, and even get into a battle or two with one of the co-hosts. In '99 I got into producing. At first it was a SP-202 (this tiny little sampler that didn't do much of anything for the $300 I payed for it) then graduated to Triton Pro in the Fall of 2000. For 3 years I tried perfecting my craft when I was fortunate enough to run into a number of locals who liked my beats and wanted to do songs with them. Then in the summer of 2002 I linked up with a crew outta Phila. PA (Blue Collar) who were serious about their music and actually had studio time. Since then, I've been producing for a number of artists including myself. This last past half year, I've been consentrating on my own music and ideas while still producing for others. Which brings us to the present...
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I haven't played live since fall '02 when I still lived in New Brunswick, NJ (the home of Rutgers Univ.). But I do have stage experience, and would love to play in front of people again.
