Quixote emerged from simple improvisation. What do you do with a digital 10-track recorder when the only 2 people in the room don't know how to play the same songs as each other?.............. You make stuff up, and thats how most of the songs by Quixote came to be. Two bored sound engineering students with guitars, a bass, a microphone and a digital 10-track with a drum machine. With no real knowledge of what their combined sound should be, Quixote covers a vast range of styles (although usually maintaining an alternative feel) combining many different influences, including: Jeff Buckley, The Smiths, Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana, to produce a very "original" sound. With no desire to emulate any other artist or band, Quixote are set to continue to produce new and inspiring music................for anyone who can be arsed listening.Have you performed in front of an audience?we've played a couple of shows, most notably an intimate acoustic gig at the 13th Note Cafe in Glasgow (apparently tipped as a great venue by the late, great John Peel). This gig was definately our best to date and we recieved some great feedback.
