We are a dementional, multi-colored punk/emo/indie band out of Kansas City, Missouri. Pink Thursday consists of Vince Lawhon (Bass, Vocals), Kyle Kampman (Guitar, Vocals), Steven Mack (Guitar, Vocals), and Micah Boise (Drums).Band/artist history
Pink Thursday was formed in mid 2002 in Kanas City, Missouri. Until mid 2003, the band was made of three people (Vincent, Kyle, Micah). Just after performing at the Bottleneck, long time friend Steven Mack joined the band as rythym guitaist to make the overall sound more warm and full as well as his astounding song writing abilities.
Kyle and Vince met in 8th grade when Kyle moved to Smithville. They soon found their likenesses in personality and eventually music. At the time, the idea of starting a band was just something to talk about. Many friends would come over and join in the jam. After going to the Warped Tour, he more serious idea came to us and we started practicing with just the original three. Vince learned bass and Kyle had just gotten out of a sling from a BMX accident that actually was the reason Kyle decided to learn guitar.
Micah had been playing drums for many years in school band and at home. Somehow Micah came over to practice one day and decided to be a fixture in the band after Kyle performed in class one day for a project.
Before moving to Smithville, Kyle went to school with Steven Mack. Even after the move they were best friends. Steven was in another band, Sold by Pattie, until their demise around the time Steven was asked to join the band
