Hip Hop General

Whassup err'body......this is JBLACC. I'm born and raised in Phoebus,VA.(2 up 2down). I've been a fan of hip hop since forever, and coming up in VA., me and the homies ain't have much. I mean err'bodies parents was struggling on welfare and just getting by,you know how that go. So outside of all the other things we were doing to entertain ourselves we would always spit Eazy E. songs, NWA., Nice-n-Smoothe, Tribe called Quest and the list goes on. Me and my homie Ant would perform it though for the homies behind the community center, and err'time we start kickin it the homies would be like "do that Eazy E. joint", and we'd do it, and it was real live. So from there i just started making up my own rhymes. I ain't never wanna spit em' cause i thought the homies might think it was wack tho, but i started getting locked and it won't much to do in there so i wrote and wrote rhymes. Then i started battling niggas on the yard and they was like you hot cuz. It built confidence in me so i just ran with it. When i touch down i found out my homie had a studio; and i just went in there one nite and did one of my songs. They was feeling me and i ain't stop since. I'm all about reality rap though, and sometimes it's to hard core for my listeners but it's what i know, the things i've experienced and the things my homies than experienced past and present. To me that's hip hop in its essence so that's what i bring to the table. Alot of the rappers from VA. ain't from the rough like people that's really from the stuggle in Va. I represent for us. The gang bangin, drug slangin, guns and violence. Plus with the smiles and crys, love and lost. It's all real and uncut. It's Virginia livin.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've done shows at a few local clubs, and still do. Nothing gets my blood flowing like a live performance. I got addicted though when i did my third show i think and it went exactly like i invisioned it. The crowd was envolved heavy and it felt like i already had made it. I got so much love it was unbelievable. That's my motivation to this day, making tracks that people can really enjoy. Weather you like it crunk or layed back, or you just wanna dance. I just want people to say " i had a hell of a time".
