Thanks for checking out my music. I am Dave Jennings, a singer/songwriter from Jackson Mississippi. Most of the songs were made with Vegas Audio and a Sound Forge. All instrumentation is also done by me.Band/artist history
I have been writing for six years or so. It seems to be the most consistant thing in my life, so I will never give up. I try and cover a variety of genres purposely, but for no other reason than trying to expand musically. On the upcoming album, "Sticks and Stones," you will hear everything from Alt. Country to Blues.
Information soon.Have you performed in front of an audience?Live shows I can play, but only with a guitar and a microphone. Most songs I have, however, are recorded with full intstrumentation. Until I have a solid band, I cannot play the songs that way they are intended.
Your musical influences
I am a fan of bands/songwriters with powerful voices and writing ability. Jeff Buckley is the first to come to mind. Followed by Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Adam Durwitz of Counting Crows and Ryan Adams, formally of Whiskeytown. What equipment do you use?
KORG Triton- Sony Acid 4.0, Vegas 4.0, Sound Forge 7.0, ARC Pre-Amp, Sennheiser E835S, and a new awesome computer that rocks.Anything else?

i'm listening to "hotel heartbeat" and i'm just floored. funny because i was just working on a song with "i'm just in the right place at the wrong time" as part of the chorus, but i think you said it better. you are increcibly talented.. keep it up.
