Mooreon! Mooreon!
I spent way too many hours learning Gary Moore tunes when I first started playing, so I think this kind of has that type of feel to it.
Apologies to Dave Apologies to Dave
Sincere apologies to Mr. Gilmour, as my guitar playing is obviously nothing like his. I doubt he accidentally unplugs his guitar while recording!

Hi, Welcome to my Soundclick page. Please take a couple seconds to write some comments after you've listened to the music, whether it's good/bad or indifferent. Let me know you were here and what you think.
Thanks,
RonYour musical influences
The first album I ever bought was Stevie Wonder's Greatest hits when I was about 9. Then I went "metal" during my early teen years, until I started playing guitar. I had a great first teacher named Rod Robillard, and he introduced me to Jeff Beck, Clapton, Hendrix, and other blues based guitar players. Most importantly, he taught me how to use my ear and teach myself. My biggest guitar playing influences are Gary Moore, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Neal Schon, Eric Johnson, and Joe Satriani. There's quite a few more that I love to listen to, but I don't think their playing has seeped into mine to the extent that those six did. What equipment do you use?
My guitars are a Fender strat, an Ibanez Artist, and a Yamaha acoustic. I've got a Fender Deville that I run a couple pedals through. For home use I'm using a Kemper Profiler through M-Audio BX8a monitors. I've also got a Yamaha DGX 620 electric piano in the basement that acts largely as a storage rack for books and cables...Hopefully my kids will spend more time learning to play it than I have.Contact

I'm still new to Rock and have plenty to learn but Mooreon is an absolute love! Do try other ones too. Thanks Ron for sharing this, keep rolling.. :)
Super playing. Tone used on this song got me to buy the 11R. BTW, do you still have the 11R? It's not on your equipment list.
Hi Steve. It's the Steve Stevens solo preset that Sweetwater included with their artist presets. I sent you a message about it a minute ago.
Cheers,
Ron
hey there great stuff..was wandering how to get a great gary moore sound out of the elevenrack?..your settings would be great man!..rock on
Hi Vlado, thanks for the kind words. Yes, it's the Eleven Rack, with my AR5000RE. The neck's a bit larger than I'm used to, and the pickups aren't very high output, so it makes me slow down quite a bit when I play that guitar.
Cheers,
Ron
