Hey. My name is James Lopez. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I play guitar, bass and a little piano. I'm currently playing and writing songs of my own on a solo basis. I will be posting more songs on here soon.Band/artist history
I've been playing for about five years but was playing or writing seriously for that whole time. I've been writing songs and music since the middle part of 2003.Have you performed in front of an audience?I Play every Monday at the Broadway Brew Haus in San Antonio. It's a two hour set that normally starts at 10 or 11pm. For directions to the Brew Haus just Google "Broadway Brew Haus". You can also find me sometimes at the Flying Saucer on Tuesday nights at their Open Mic Night.
Your musical influences
My influences are very varied and I love almost all types of music. Strongest influences would probably be Incubus, Days of the New, The Doors, Pearl Jam, John Mayer, Jason Mraz. What equipment do you use?
I have a nylon-string acoustic guitar(Jasmine by Takamine). I have a very crappy electric guitar..haha....(Squier Strat by Fender). And I have an old Peavey T-40 jazz bass. I use a Boss distortion pedal and a Dunlop Crybaby Wah pedal.......so far.Anything else?
I hope that someone likes my songs. If you'd like to tell me what you think please go ahead and drop me a line. I gladly accept and appreciate any suggestions or comments. Any feedback is good feedback I say. Thanks for taking your time to listen to my work.Contact

Hey James, I don't know if you're still using this site. I came across an old email you sent that directed me towards your music. I like the fact that your songs aren't built around conventional melodies or rhyme schemes. The last time I heard your sing your voice was much stronger. You should rerecord some of these songs. More importantly, you need to pursue your dreams.
Take care, Max
Hey thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it. -James-
Hi Stin ! I like the chords you've used in this piece. I think it sounds cool. And your voice sounds good , too. Nice job.
