Vital Nonsense (V.NON) was founded by musician/ MC/ artist/ teacher/ philospher/ southsider/ Calafia Zulu member Gabe Rosales in 09. V.NON is a revolutionary band and movement to acknowledge and encompass all styles of music. The band promotes a S.U.N. philosophy which stands for Scientific Universal and Non-sectarian. This concept is based off of the vipassana meditation Gabe Rosales practices and lives by. V.NON covers all styles from jazz fusion to death metal to live out the dream of a group who are proficient in many forms of self expression. Gabe Rosales' 1st solo album entitled Vital Nonsense was the launch pad for this concept and band. The movement includes members Jeff Suburu (guitars), Mike Madariaga (guitars), Brian Roberts (keys), Anesha Rose Edmond (vocals), Peter Freeman (bass), Jimi Etherington (vocals), Jon Knox (drums), Max Vega (drums andpercussion), Divine Styler (vocals), Zulu King Lastman (vocals), Will Lyle (percussion), Brandon Trahan (drums).Band/artist history
