I must admit the first version of Esprit was built while under the influence of some not so catholic substances, but I had to rework it into something more listenable, but it's still really weird and in fact, there are multiple tempos which do not follow the same structure, like 4/4 and 3/4 at the same time... The effect is disorienting and I dig it, I mean I want people to try to dance to that and drop on the floor with spasms... This is a musical version of skizophrenia one could say. Madness rules !

Hi my friend: thanks for keeping in touch and leaving a note on our board. I also got your e-mail but I was too busy recently to write an appropriate answer. I am listening to Esprit right now and that is an extremly weird extremly dark song - I obviously love that! Sc**w the mainstream and stay authentic! Da ist ja Deutsch drinn!!!! Wow. I love it :). I still do most of our vocs in English but we will have some German and Spanish stuff too. Anyhow, keep up your efforts! I like the new stuff better than Resistance stuff by the way. You are growing to be very dark :).

I didn't think people would like it, it's pretty confused and messed up, with no real melody. But the samples from Peter Jackson's gore classic Braindead fit the mood of the song I think. Makes a change from my politic-themed songs...

Very nice sampling in Resistance, I am also completly opposed to this type of war politics! We have a song to called "war is coming your way" that uses GW samples :).
