Band/artist history
Originally started in 2000 under the name Phat Phish Records. Due to a name crisis it was switched a few times and now has settled with Save That. In the History of Save That we have produce around 50 different artists/groups. Some going off to get major radio play in Savannah, GA, New Jersey, and northern California. Some of the artists have performed stateside while others have grown popular in Germany, Puerto Rico and one artist even performed in Balad, Iraq after the war. We are striving to become a strong independent label providing artist with studio time, beats and performances.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Artists we work with have and do. Such as Cali Jonez, Furyus, and a few others. Currently weare trying to get set up again and will continue performing soon. BE ON THE LOOKOUT.
Your musical influences
We are dedicated to bringing a sound similar to the already great producers. Such as: Shady/Aftermath, Rocafella, Bad Boy, etc.
What equipment do you use?
The studio is based off of Pro Tools 6.1 (same equipment used on 50 cent's "In Da' Club" as well as many other artists and songs.) Beats are made using a MC-307 and occasionaly adding small samples in.
