Heavy Metal

We Are Algorithmic Entropy: Jim Krone David Secor Jeremy Bossert "Jedi" Richter Kesch We are out of Schenectady, NY, which, for everyone outside of our area, is known simply as Upstate New York. Our original intention for this project was to be industrial, and strictly industrial. As our music took shape, however, it tended to cross the metal genres. This is a direct result of the varying musical influences of the core members of the band. As a whole, our taste in music ranges from classic rock, to classic metal, industrial, speed and thrash, to death metal, and everything in between. Add to that various other styles, such as classical, and it is soon apparent that our music can, and will, go in many directions... We are still in the very beginning stages of this project, and as a group, we are growing exponentially. Our first release, the six-track "Shameless Self-Promotion Demo," is a sampling of some of our first completed works. It was officially released on October 31, 2003. As we move forward, we hope to provide a unique blend of musical styles, which will leave the listener asking, "What will come next?"
Have you performed in front of an audience?
No, at the moment. We are currently gathering suitable equipment for live shows.
Your musical influences
Our influences include: Inudstrial, Industrial Metal, Speed Metal, Thrash Metal, Death Metal, Hardcore, Classical, And early electronic projects. Certain of our songs have been compared to: Nine Inch Nails, Sister Machine Gun, Ministry. We like hard hitting vocals and guitars layered over an industrial beat and soundscape. As we progress in our music, this soundscape becomes more and more complex, with multiple layers and sounds.
