The truth of the conflict in Iraq (3/2003-Present).
Off to the Moon Sky Off to the Moon Sky
This is a song for relaxing and enjoying the night sky or the sunset or just waking up in the morning.
This is a project. An experiment if you will. These are the egg shells needed to be broken before what great happens: the omelet to end all omelets, or until the next mega-omelet comes. No one's going to tell you what to like. Let that end right now.
What you're about to hear is not what I consider alternative. What was considered alternative before was like giving peas as an alternative to green beans. This isn't steak nor is it salad. It's steak AND salad. It's flying AND crashing.
Everything starts small. What I have for you is the small. Nobody gets the small at first, but remember our agreement from before: nobody is going to tell you what to like. It's also alright if you don't like this, but don't dislike it because you don't understand it or get it. That only means you haven't given it enough of a chance.
So without further adieu, I present to you:
Mojohifi (featuring Ortboy)Band/artist history
Too long, complicated and boring of a story.Have you performed in front of an audience? Not yet. And not this stuff. There are real compositions in the works. Again, these are experiments.
Your musical influences
The Beatles have been my main influence for almost a decade now. Lately I've been listening to Radiohead, Pink Floyd from the Syd Barret years and Oasis. I also get into funk. Funk is beautiful and there really hasn't been anything quite like it since the 70's, except on rare exceptions. I've also spent months only listening to NPR. So, you decide what I'm into. I can't.What equipment do you use?
Griff. It's a mock-midi program for the pocket pc. I don't sample. Samples are for wannabe musicians, or for extra ambiance. Not the main act. Samples in the spotlight equates to dead music.Anything else?
I AM a rockstar. I drink like a rockstar. I think like a rockstar. But right now I'm nervous around famous rockstars. This has to be fixed. I will soon intern at whichever studio in Hollywood accepts me to maybe start a career in audio engineering, but mostly to get into the scene and start a band. All I need is a car.
