I heard this played on the radio recently and it reminded me of what a great hit single it was back in 1985. It brought back good memories. All the young girls in the office thought that Paul King was a real 'Dreamboat'. A perfect Pop single.

A strange composition that had been languishing in a folder for about a year as I couldn't see where it was heading. When I re-visited it later, it almost assembled itself.

I've always thought that this was a good song. I only know the Dr. Hook and Marianne Faithful versions, but I'm sure there are other versions out there. A simple 3 chord song...so pick the key that suits your vocal range and off you go.

I've taken the old Manfred Mann song, Pretty Flamingo, as a launch point for a variety of guitar excursions both 'Retro' and 'Modern'. A nice first outing for my new Yamaha Pacifica 612. The bass as always, is the trusty Rickenbacker 4003.

My slightly 'psychedelic' tinged version of a great Beatles song. I'm hoping that John especially will approve of where I've taken this. I enjoyed playing and recording this.. I also enjoyed drawing the accompanying artwork.

My own jazzy interpretation of the classic tune by Antonio Carlos Jobim, with a touch of 'Wave' and 'The more I see you' thrown in for good measure.

An experimental piece with added voice samples. I've used the voice of a well known 'Beat Poet' in what I hope is a sympathetic and interesting musical backdrop.

I'm not sure what 'genre' this should be in...Pop/Soul/Rhythm & Blues. Well, whatever! this is another great song by Arthur Alexander from later in his career I think.

This is my instrumental version of the classic early hit by The Drifters. I used my Yamaha Pacifica 612V through my Line 6 Pod for all the guitar parts. Tone-wise, a touch more 'gain' than Hank Marvin

This is my instrumental version of a great Pop song from 1988 by The Adventures... (a band from Belfast, Northern Ireland). Please check out the original vocal version... It's great.
