BIOGRAPHY / INTRODUCTION

The German Heavy Rockband ARREST was basicly founded in the 90s (first Idea to form a band). It takes then a few years since they became one of the well acknowledged Live-Rock-Acts in their region.

Right from the beginning homemade, honest Heavy Rock-Music, which is not influenced by any trends, is one of the priorities.

Still from these early days the band founding members Ralf Weber, Frank Doleczik and Alex Weinrauch are together.

At the end of 1999s the former singer Jerry Donahue left the band. During the Start of the new millennium ARREST had produced some new songs and ALEX did the vocals on a demo tape. As the band listened to his voice, they decide that he will do the job for the future.

The ARREST Line Up is :

Alex Weinrauch (Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards, Piano)

Frank Doleczik (Backing Vocals, Guitars)

Ralf Weber (Backing Vocals, Bass)

Uwe Hermanns (Drums)

Robert Karasek (Keyboards, Synths, Piano)

Their style is not simple to describe, but some say it comes close to bands such as Black Sabbath, Maiden and Royal Hunt. So better listen to their CDs and decide on your own.
