Gday Gday our band name is ARIFT we are a five piece metal/hard rock band who've been together for about 2 years and we love the shit out of writing music and playing it for people. Band/artist history
Ryno (Drummer - vox), Dale (lead - vox) and Steve (rythm - vox) met at school when they we're youngins... life was interesting but they craved something more out of life. Thus Arift was born and after numerous gigs without a bass player they decided to add friend and confidant Blandy to the mix, who made a transition from guitar to bass quite well. Recently the boys came across lead singer Brent who was welcome with open arms as they felt the vocals sounded a lil empty as is. Then Steve came across soundclick and this long and perilious history comes to an end.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We love playing live, usually at the local concert hall or at pubs when they're happy to have us. One time steve did a stage (with a lead on, and a small one at that... idiot,) and came close to ruining half the amps on stage and knocked over a few mic stands.. quite humorous and ridiculously stupid at the time.
Your musical influences
Metallica, Godsmack, Ac/Dc, Iron Maiden, Disturbed, Sandgeese (m/), Tankspace (m/), Killswitch Engage, alot of metal of all kinds, alot of rock of all kinds and a tinge of 80's pop metal to make it right.

These songs are either from our 2003 demo which was recorded in Ryno's loungroom on a 10 dollar mic with a bit of additional mixing... (which im quite proud of considering the circumstances) or they're from our incomplete 2004 demo that is of good quality but suddenly came to a halt as we've been offered a better recording deal at a mates studio.
