Hypercussion Hypercussion
A short piece, put together in one sitting. Quite surprised with the way it turned out though. You can't go wrong with a good arpeggiator. :)
Snowdance Snowdance
Sometimes things just click. This is probably the fastest put together piece I've done yet. Listen out for the unusual time signature in one bar. I really don't know why it sounded awkward without it, but hey.
MX Tribute Drumloop - Funk MX Tribute Drumloop - Funk
Just a quick 4/4 120bpm funk drumloop for the Tribute Collaboration.
Nocturne Nocturne
Complete, at long last. Find the right tone, and the song writes itself, that's what this one taught me. A gentle, chilled piece. Enjoy! NEW - Remastered with Reason 3.0

Me, a collection of basses, a keyboard or two and a stack of fancy software. Some of the songs on here aren't really for casual listening, but are here to allow others access for various things... For instance at the moment there's a drumloop and an audio clip of slap bass, for a contest and a lesson respectively, both linked to from musicianforums.com. Others are collaborations I've worked on, or pieces of my own creation.Band/artist history
I started playing bass in 2002. I knew I wanted to play an instrument, one involved in the music I liked. All my friends were starting guitar, or played drums, so I thought I'd be a little different (And secure my place in the band) by taking up bass. As this train of thought ran through my mind, someone put the Rhinoplasty Live version of Tommy The Cat by Primus on the stereo, and that was that.
A few weeks later I bought a cheap, but sturdy Musicman Stingray replica. I enjoyed it immensely, and have since bought three more basses, and a keyboard. I'm still learning the basics of keyboard, really, but my deficiencies in playing the thing are countered by my knowledge of MIDI sequencing - I play very sloppily, but I know how to clean it up!Have you performed in front of an audience?Occasionally. I think the most memorable moment was our singer hospitalising himself during a last minute practice before a show.
