I'm Antares, but you can call me Tara. I'm a singer-songwriter making acoustic pop-folk-rock and... well, listen to the music, you'll get the idea. :)
Band/artist history
Not much to say in the way of history. Music is my life and who I am, I just had to learn to play guitar, and here I am.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play every once in a while at the Java, Juice and Art Cafe in Williamsport, PA, and at various open mic nights around the area. I also fill in during breaks for bands at Hull's Landing in Muncy on Wednesday nights. Hoping to get some more gigs soon.

I have a Squier acoustic guitar and a Dean acoustic-electric, a Shure SM57 microphone and various home-recording programs.

sounds really good for a computer recording...some of the mixes could probably be improved a bit but it could just be that it doesnt come through properly over soundclick...keep up the good work...

"To Ask" is simply wonderful. Your playing and voice shine on this track. It made me "feel"..and I think that's one of the greatest things music can do. All good tracks. Keep up the good work!
Sweet, clear, expressive, poignant voice. Felt a little guilty for downloading- so record already- and I will pay for the privelege of hearing your rainy-day coffee house songs.
