Annetta has spent countless hours perfecting her piano / keyboard finesse, strengthening her songwriting skills and refining her unique, eclectic vocal style. Annetta is a gifted young singer/songwriter whose powerful voice can captivate an audience. She smoothly blends jazz with contemporary music as she travels through her artistic compositions taking the listener on a musical journey. So sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.
Band/artist history
At the age of 11, Annetta was selected from a nation-wide search of choral students to sing the "National Anthem" at the America Sings Concert in Washington D.C. This was her 1st national exposure singing in front of an audience of 15,000 patriotic fans.
In the early 90's Annetta performed in many benefits and competitions winning tri-state and local area awards featuring her strong vocal talents. Some major of highlights during the 90's was Annetta advancement to Teen Vocal Semi-finalist on the '94 Ed McMahon's Star Search show - MGM Studios; winning vocal acclaim in the musical play "Harmony"; and performing on stage at the 1st Annual "Midtown Atlanta Music Festival".
In the mid to late '90's Annetta toured the country with the Black Expo -USA company as an opening act to performers such as Miki Howard, H-Town, Brownstone, Foxy Brown, Silk, For Real, Yolanda Adams and TLC
to name a few. Annetta also had recording experience working with Teddy Riley on Blackstreet's album "Another Level" with credits as the developing girl group "Elan".
