I've been writing lyrics for a little over a year now, I've been playing guitar for about ten years, and just started making beats with Reason 3.0. I was raised in Richmond California by a low income family. I always felt different, and my life has led me to some some distinctions of values that are expressend in my music. Lyrically I rap and sing about alot of different aspects of life, and each song has derived from specific situations and experiences. Discoveries that I've found and think you need to know can be heard in every message of every song I write. I try to relay a feeling, an emotion, a very powerful energy like love, and balance it in my voice and guitar, then bring it to you to feel and embrace. These songs have little or no editing or mastering, are all first takes, and are far from sounding perfect, or even as good as I know they are so dont be too harsh. Its a work in progress. I am still trying to find my style so if anyone who listens has any critical suggestions or constructive feedback, please let me know. Through music I hope people will listen, enjoy the message and music, and spread the word. I hope like minded peole start meeting, organizing, holding disscussion groups/forums, create art , meditate, re-establish your connection with the earth, the universe, and all living things everywhere.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played live a couple of times, I have bad stage presence but I plan on performing a lot more to work on that. There were moments in the songs where everything clicked and it sounded really good. There is room for improvement and the potential is there.
