My name is Andrell, I am 32 years old and in Love with God. It is my prayer that through this project God will begin showing you how to get back to your God given image. It is my vision that people will begin exposing their deepest secrets to the Lord and not be ashamed. Andrell Cooks was born in Warren, Ohio. From the age of 5, Andrell has been singing for God. She has ministered with choirs that have opened for John P. Kee, Timothy Wright, Rance Allen and many others. She also was a member of the gospel groups The Cooks Sisters and Spirit. She began expressing her love of music through writing since the age of 16, and hasnt looked back. She has been and is writing for independent musicians and psalmist. She is also writing songs for the independent music labels Cossound and The Beat Lab ProductionsHave you performed in front of an audience?Yes i do minister live where ever the Lord opens a door. I love it because God is using me as a vessel to free His people.
Your musical influences
Growing p in the C.O.G.I.C there are a lot of great artist to choose from. I would have to say my biggest influences growing up were the Clark Sister. But I believe my greatest influences in music would have to be my mom and her family. Everyone practically in my family can sing. As an adult I love CeeCee Winans, Yolanda Adams, and Karen Clark-SheardAnything else?
My heart is toward the Kingdom of God. I want to make music that will effectively turn the hearts of men to God and to produce change in the lives of Gods people. I just want people to listen and understand. My goals are to write for gospel artists who are determined to bring in the harvest, and to continue to perform music that will move the hearts of man.
