Hi, my name is Andreas and I'm a 27-year old guy from Germany who plays keyboards. Feel free to check out my songs and to contact me if you like them :-)
No. It's too hard to find the right guys to form a band with this kind of music.
The artists/bands who have influenced me the most would be The Art of Noise, The Alan Parsons Project, Genesis, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd as well as Chicane, RMB, Kai Tracid, DJ Shadow and Nightwish. You may think 'What a motley crue is this' - be aware that I'm a keyboardist and as such it's natural to like every sort of intellectual music like Art/Progressive Rock and Fusion Jazz as well as every sort of electronic music which includes 80's music in general but also Techno and Electronica.
A KORG N264 keyboard, Cubase and SoundForge.
I'd like to dedicate a big thank you to my favorite keyboardists: Tony Banks from Genesis; Donald Fagen from Steely Dan; Greg Phillinganes, Steve Porcaro, and David Paich from Toto; Anne Dudley, Jonathan Jeczalik, and Trevor Horn from The Art of Noise; Mike Lindup and Wally Badarou from Level 42; Liam Howlett from The Prodigy; Josh Davis alias DJ Shadow; Nick Bracegirdle from Chicane; Kai McDonald aka Kai Traicid; Tuomas Holopainen from Nightwish; Martin Pohl from Pontifunk; Andreas Diemann; Hans-Hasso Stamer; the two guys from Servi; the mortal man who created immortal music: Freddie Mercury from Queen; and finally: Johann Sebastian Bach. All of you deserve the greatest respect.
