Amy Saint George

Solo acoustic act often described as the female Chris Carrabba. Oh wait, that's kind of redundant, isn't it?

Have you performed in front of an audience?
I do play live if offered the opportunity. The venue doesn't matter, I'll play your backyard if you want me to. Playing live is so awesome while you're up there, and even afterwards you've still got this high. There are two special moments that come to mind when I think about the few times I've played live. When I played at my uncle's wake service, there was a moment where I got the courage to look up from the ground while I was playing and I just saw all these people watching me, smiling with tears in their eyes, and after I finished, my cousins and siblings (who had been playing with me) stood up and there were hugs all around. Also, I played my eighth grade formal, and at one point I looked at my friends, a bunch of six or seven of them, and they were singing along while I played. Then I heard someone yell out, "I LOVE YOU AMY!!" and I just felt so rock star at that moment. Hehe.
Your musical influences
Michelle Branch, Dashboard Confessional, Something Corporate, The Beatles, Straylight Run, AAR, Lisa Loeb, Student*Rick...quite an eclectic mix, isn't it?
What equipment do you use?
Takamine EG560CBS (Sunburst Blue), Roland AC-60 acoustic amp, M-Audio MobilePre USB Preamp and Marshall MXL 990 and 991 mics.
Anything else?
Shoutouts to my Kemps Landing maggots, especially my orch dorks, and my Tallwood peeps (wow, have you ever heard me use that word?). Love to my sisters, and my best friends (you guys know who you are).
