My whole life has been music. I went to the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC for high school, majoring in Oboe Performance, but in college switched to voice. I can play about 10 instruments decently, but Opera is my love...

I have a recital coming up in November. Stay Posted. I will also be part of a UNCG production of Amahl and the Night visitors this fall.
Your musical influences
My greatest operatic idol is Janet Baker. Other than opera, I love to listen to and sing Ella Fitzerald, Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, Joss Stone. I love just listening to things like The Doors, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Ben Folds...I know, wide range.
