Band/artist history
THE AMBER ESTATE is formed out of long-time friendships, as all three members have been making music together in some form since they were wee lads. In fact, Adrian Suarez, Leif Peterson and Matthew Miller were all raised in a charming place called Oconomowoc, WI. It was around the ages of 12 or 13, that their adolescent bands began rocking the otherwise quiet town. Higher education and various musical journeys ensued, and soon THE AMBER ESTATE was born. It was the year 2001 when Leif and Adrian began writing songs in Milwaukee. Matthew joined the band shortly thereafter in 2002 and the band relocated to Minneapolis. The trios instrumentation includes Mutt (a homemade bass/guitar hybrid), synthesizers, lap steel guitar, samplers, acoustic and electronic drums, and two distinct voices. THE AMBER ESTATE independently released their debut, self-titled album in 2004. Expect a new release in 2005.
