Alternative Cow Punk
I can't ignore this, not anymore and if no one else noticed would it still exist? - Joel Byrum from the song Daniel's Lament
The Path The Path
Final Draft- Updated 06/07/05 9:18 am. I decided to shorten the name to just "The Path". The back up vocals have some distortion and the intro has some synth. The drums have changed...for the better.
Hold On Hold On
Final Draft - Updated 5/25/05 3:00 pm (pacific) The song starts soft, but give it a minute and it'll hit you. In the end of the song, the drums cut out and reveal a nice mellow lead. Overall one of my fav's.
So They Say [version 1.5] So They Say [version 1.5]
I have no idea where to put this song. It's a little hip/hop, a little rock, it's a little funk, so I'm still not sure. Let me know what you think! This is still very much a work in progress. Bare with me, people.
The Comeback The Comeback
This song was originaly written as a rap song I thought about making. My girlfriend at the time didn't like it that way and suggested I should give it a punkish feel to it. Sorry there are no drums yet. This is a rough draft.
She's So Fine She's So Fine
Hell ya! She's So Fine is a great comedy track but still a rockin' tune. Watch out now! I'm droppin' some country on ya!
Hey People, I'm Joel Byrum. I write and perform all the music for Alternative Cow Punk or ACP for short. ACP is not a band. It's a project that I've been working on for the past 6 years. It's evolved and devolved then revolved several times. What I'm trying to do is create melodic harmonies with catchy hooks and sweet beats. I like all styles of music and appreciate the hard work dedication musicians put into their music. I'm a freindly person so if there's something you want to ask or would like to collaberate on a piece, then please email me.Have you performed in front of an audience? If you like: Sublime, Incubus, Violent Femms, Tom Petty, Bob Marley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr., Sex Pistols, Social Distortion, The Offspring, Rancid, Nirvana, NIN, Silverchair, then you'll love Alternative Cow Punk!Yeah, all of the music on Soundclick.com is still a "work in progress". Most of the tracks still don't have drums or any of the instuments that will be on the demo. Also, I have to give props to my producer, Carlo Grossman, for doing all of the Drum patterns, Keyboards, and recording me. Thanks CG!!!
