A True Unit Straight Out Of Conway S.C
Band/artist history
In The Midst Of Chain Flossin', Bottle Poppin', 24's With Spinners, And SUVs With Thumpin' Systems, It Seems That Reality Has Become A Rare Find In The Rap Game. Tales Of Riches Have Taken The Place Of Creativity And Originality In Much Of The Music We Hear. M.I. (27), Whip (27), Teezy (27), Soulja1 (24), Wildfire (29), And Hersh (27) Are Just As Original, Creative, And Real As Everyone Else Claims To Be. The Difference Is That They Can Prove Their Worth. These Six Talented MC's Grew Up In The "Levi" & "Alley" Sections Of Conway, SC, Areas With All The Elements That Would Mean Trouble For Most People, And Are The Soldiers Of South Carolina -- "Alley Ballaz". They Rap About Street Life In The South. "We Wanna Show That South Cak Got Some Heat From The Streets And We're Gonna Bring It To Y'all," Says M.I., Who Flaunts Vicious Freestyles. With Six Members In The Group, One Could Expect Conflict To Spark But These Guys Are All Brothers And Cousins, Making It Obvious That Blood Is Thicker Than Water. The Alley Ballaz Are By Far No Strangers To Struggle. They Have Seen More Hard Times Than The Evans Family On "Good Times", Prompting The Release Of Their Debut Album "Alley Struggle" In 2000. In The Process They Captured The Attention Of The Streets In Conway And Myrtle Beach, SC. Since Then, More Trying Times Spawned The Release Of Several Mixtapes, The Most Recent Of Which Is The "Soldiers Of South Carolina Vol. 1" Mixtape Presented By The World Famous SuperFriend DJ D-Tec. Their Most Recent Album, "Maranda Law", Features Their Hot Single "Flip It", Which Has Been Getting Regular Airplay By DJ Roc (98.5 KISSFM, Myrtle Beach SC) And DJ Ced (COAST 97.3, Wilmington NC). From Their Fiery Lyrics To The "South East" Beats They Rep On Courtesy Of Their Record Label, Lab City Inc., And Their In-House Producers Meltrackz, dBranche,& Hurricane You Can Tell That These Guys Are Here To Stay And They're Gonna Make An Impact On The Rap Game.
