Debutó en la industria a sus 18 años tras el lanzamiento de su primer sencillo "Nunca Caerás", una producción del Dj Colombiano AFM.
Tras la escasa promoción y pese a la mala critica, Villanoba emprendió la producción de un nuevo sencillo, esta vez a cargo del cantautor y productor Jhomer Rios. Finalmente a Finales del 2015 hizo púbica "Utopía" su segundo single, pero primero comercial.
En 2017 fue lanzado el sencillo 'X En La Vida (Feat- AFM)' como corte principal y anticipo de su disco debut que está siendo producida por AFM (importante productor del House Colombiano) y grabado en DobleM Studios, bajo la dirección de Magic Hand.
Alex fue premiado por la cantante nominada al Latin Grammy, Rakel, como Mejor Canción Masculina en el "Festival de la Canción Lasallista 2015" y nominado en el "Festival Universitario ASCUN" en la misma categoría.
Su debut publico se realizo en la Discoteca Toneles Night en el "Friday Electronic Party" donde se presento como artista central, acompañado del Dj Productor.
