I'm sure everyone who's visited the 'Folk Scene' will have encountered something like this; perhaps at a session near you!

Haven of Hope Haven of Hope
'The soul can have no rainbows, less the eyes have shed some tears' is the motto of Many Tears Animal Rescue based Carmarthen in South West Wales, UK. http://www.manytearsrescue.org/

Fading Flowers - Falling Stars. Fading Flowers - Falling Stars.
In 1969 the band Blue Mink had a debut hit with Melting Pot, which reached #3 in the UK charts and our world seemed full of hope. We children of the '60s still basked in the warmth of summer '67; the 'summer of love'. I still have the vinyl.

Bombs Away for Dave Bombs Away for Dave
Yet again our brave leader rushes us into a war with no end, instead of seeking a lasting solution by cutting off the flow of money and arms - but hey, that would hurt arms sales wouldn't it?
Currently play as half a duo Steph and Al - me guitar and vocals, Steph violin.
I've played and sung with quite a few combo's over the years but currently play bass, melodeon and acoustic guitars in pub sessions. I used to front a three piece shanty band called Strumble Head - named after our local lighthouse - then a trio PASTAL with a talented Cellist/Clarinettist called Stephanie and a banjo player called Paul - hence PASTAL - work it out! I also play Sousaphone (Suzy - purchased for Dr Bob's Secret Remedy - a Ceilidh band) and Suzy sometimes comes to sessions too! Steph and I are a duo and enjoy performing locally with a variety of musical friends.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
