ALASTRY is a young melodic pop-punk band from Quebec City (Canada) born in 2002.
It was originally shaped by Luis, Max, Frank and Pete all studying at the same University. After a couple of months of hard work trying to find the sound these guys were looking for, ALASTRY gave their first shows. Every reactions were really good, so the guys decided to put more time on the project.
In January 2004, ALASTRY recorded their first E.P. called 'The Yellow Trout'. A couple of weeks later, they welcomed Rix to complete the sound of the band.
In the summer of 2004 they recorded their second E.P. called 'The Red Star'. Frank left the band right after the recording of the E.P. Max left the band in June 2005 because of a lack of time.
Today, ALASTRY is planning to go back in the studio fall 2005 and is looking to book a lots of shows to test the new material. Some members of the band have good live experience as they were in a couple of bands who performed from 1997 to 2003.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, actually we are playing only in the Provine of Quebec, Canada, but definitely looking to go worldwide.
