Have you performed in front of an audience?
Playing locally with my band Whiskey Red. We are a cover outfit for now, but venturing into writing some originals.
Your musical influences
The old greats. Willie, Waylon, Haggard, Jones, to name a few. The newer artists that influence my writing are Toby Keith, Big & Rich, Brad Paisely. The list could go on a long time. Cross Canadian Ragweed & Mike McClure (formerly of The Great Divide) have been huge influences on my writing. I'm currently enjoying lots of "Red-Dirt" Texas country bands & artists.
