Hey people, my name is Arik, and I play the bass.(mind-blowing, eh?) I'm working on some solo stuff, and that's about it for now, cuz my band is done like dinner. Anyhoo, like I said, I'm working on some solo stuff right now, and it's ALL crap now, but someday, it may be listenable.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've only played live once, and that was just f*ckin around on a junk bass at some kid's party. I may do my skool talent show this year though.

My greatest musical influences are Victor Wooten, Stuart Hamm, Les Claypool, and Michael "Flea" Balzary.What equipment do you use?
I have a Schecter Stilleto Custom-4 bass and a Crate BX-50 amp. That's all right now, I'll keep ya informed on any new toys I get.Anything else?

I listened to your instrumental play on "Christmas"..it was nice and pleasant...it would of sounded better on better recording equipment.(it was fuzzy sounding)...but be more confident in yourself and don't say your stuff isn't very good...just stay at it...I voted the song HOT to help you out in the charts...Let me know when you have new material posted...I would like for you to listen to my song "If You Could" when you get the time...thanks and much respect

I am looking for a badass bass player for a new record I am putting together.I am a jazz/fusion guitarist.I am currently living in Southern Indiana and the drummer I use is in Boston,so I am looking for a bass player that has a home studio to record the bass tracks and then send them to me and I cann load them up in my studio and lay down all my final guitar tracks.I have 4 tunes ready for bass so far and am continuing to write more for the new record which I hope to release in the early winter.I do have some music on my soundclick site from previous records as well as a few solo things.The new material is much better than whats up there now but at least if you listen to some of the stuff on soundclick you will get a good idea about what I do and what type of player I am.Check out "Lunchbox" and "Courage" those are some of the better tunes from the last record.So anyway if you are interested in trying to do some recording please let me know.What I would do if you are interes
