Guile's Theme (Cover) Guile's Theme (Cover)
Rahul got bored one evening and covered Guile's theme. It goes great with everything.

Intro Idea Intro Idea

Puerile Puerile
Rahul's signature song and probably our most notable track so far. Puerile is a rollercoaster ride of blasting heaviness, frenetic shred and powerful melody.

Free Will Theorem Free Will Theorem
A recent mix of the first collaborative Aevum Nova track, Free Will Theorem is a more progressive instrumental that utilizes esoteric melodies and harmonies.

A London-based experimental/progressive metal band.
Members:

Band/artist history
The band's genesis came in the form of something suitably exciting and epic: a joke about fried chicken. Spinning outward into the two guitarist's rather banal comic chicken-inspired djent project, material began to surface, at which point it became readily apparent that something more serious was in the works. Upon recording material and gaining a rhythm section things developed quickly into a full band and an ever-increasing pile of song material.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We'd definitely like to!
Your musical influences
Given that every member has a wide taste in music and as many of these influences as possible are applied to Aevum Nova, listing them all would be impossible, though the seminal bands of the burgeoning 'djent' movement (such as Periphery, Tesseract, Animals As Leaders and Monuments) form an obvious core. Outside this, everything from dubstep to hardcore punk to psytrance to alternative rock can enter the band's sound in some way.
What equipment do you use?
Ibanez guitars and basses, Line6 amplification and processing, Mapex and Ludwig drums (Superior Drummer 2.0 in studio) and the almighty ProTools!
Synth parts are made using Alex's VST rig.
