Originally from D.R Congo, Aesop fell in love with hip hop at age 10 listening to the Fugees. Aesop went to high school in the Bahamas, and it was here that Aesop begin working with, then fellow classmate, DJ Shorts making reggae and rap tracks in his fathers office! It wasn't until college that Aesop began to realize that the freestyle covers he would often do was better than the original. His brother J.Raph, a talented keyboard and guitar player, reached out to Aesop to help him develop his art. It's in their home studio that Aesop has been reaching his potential and exploring the limits of hip hop. He is now working on his first mixtape, The Burial Vol 1., due to be released soon.
