Started writing poetry at a early age, Adrien Thomas was no stranger to the art of expression. Due to family and social ordeals, Adrien was therapeutically recommended that he continue with poetry as a chosen means to express himself. After 2 years of writing, he was asked for rights to publish one of his poems. Labeled as a triumph over his own ordeals the North American Poetry Association honored one of his poems. Listed under the category ‘street poetry’, ‘Sitting In A Jail Cell’, created notable topics concerning of life on the streets for the aboriginals of America. Wasn’t until latter on his life, his desired of writing took a dramatic turn. Often challenging his goals, he decited to take his poetry and target the youth of the inner city streets in the form of Hip Hop.
