"Boston's new voice in acoustic rock."
-the boston phoenixBand/artist history
It’s hard to believe that just three years ago, Adam Ezra stepped out onto the stage to perform at his first solo concert. Today, whether you take a look at his extensive concert history, listen to his music on MTV’s “Real World”, or check out a show with the “adam ezra group”, you will undoubtedly understand what a wild ride it’s been.
At the ripe old age of 26, Adam considers himself an experientialist as much as musician or songwriter. Whether it’s living out of a van, farming in Canada, relief work in Kosovo, student in South Africa, kitchen hand or carpenter, teacher or traveler, Adam manages to cram it all into the music, always challenging our perspective and often teetering somewhere between the ballsy rocker and sensitive poet .
After a touring schedule that has taken him around the country as a solo artist, Adam has come back to his roots in New England to form the “adam ezra group”. Joined by John Appa on the drums and Jimmy Saulnier on bass, the trio have successfully transformed Adam’s lyrically-based folk music into an acoustic-rock agenda that’s packing the clubs around Boston.
Most recently, the band has just come off their “Concert on the Drop” tour, sponsored by Nantucket Nectars. The concert series hit a number of New England Colleges, as well as Boston’s Oktoberfest and Head of the Charles events in Cambridge. AEG is currently in the studio, putting the finishing touches on their first album, “Sessions”. For previews, and more information on the band go to www.adamezra.com.

Hey man. This is Mega Trife from Brockton, MA. I really enjoyed your music, I think you guys are really talented. I'm a musician as well but I make hip-hop. However I enjoy all genres of music. John Mayer is my favorite musician right now and I actually found your page by searching music that sounds like John Mayer. Then, I picked you out of the 100 because you were local. Anyway, you guys deserve to make it and I hope yo do and believe you will. I don't know how much, if at all you guys dig on hip-hop but if you have some time drop by my page and check out the song "4 You". Lyrically, it was influenced by John Mayer's "Love Song For No One". You may or may not appreciate it but all in all, good music. Keep it up.
Nice. Dave Matthews fans can really get into this. Rock on, acoustically.
