Aaron Charles started as a joke. "When we first got together and started messing around writing songs we were going for the paradigm of what as out at the time", says guitarist Zach Campbell, "We just wanted to write typical death metal songs with lyrics and just make the songs altogether nonsensical and funny." What started out as a joke soon became serious around February of 2008, when the band settled down and finished their first song "The Tragedy of Corona del Mar". After many more months of writing and a vicious reforming of the bands line-up, Aaron Charles had put the finishing touches on their five song EP entitled "The Just Face Sessions". Soon after it's completion in late-2008, the band burst out into the local scene in their hometown of Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Currently the band is working on their debut full length, not yet titled, and is touring relentlessly in an effort to find and secure their position in the vast niche of the metal genre.Have you performed in front of an audience?The band plays everywhere they possibly can and loves every second of it. This little box couldn't contain all the memorable items that happened at an Aaron Charles gig.

Each member is influenced by many different musical acts, artists, and literary figures; most notably: Metallica, the Black Dahlia Murder, the Acacia Strain, Carnifex, and D.H. Lawrence.What equipment do you use?
