"Listening to their cover tunes, it becomes apparent that they achieve a nice balance between faithfulness to the original vibe, and crafting their own personal touch. In addition to their covers, the Troy T. Blues Band plays their own original songs with the same vigor, creativity and enthusiasm. The thing that strikes me most about their sound is that they are really tight. The band members work together to create a groove that is enjoyable for the listener. I like how they stay in the pocket, even on the extended numbers. Troy is an excellent rhythm player and his leads offer a nice mix of chordal work, single notes and double stops with some heavy firepower. These guys deliver the goods and from listening to the live sound clips, the audience is having a great time and appreciates their efforts."
