Hi. It's Jesus. Do I call you "Tones" or do I call you "I"... "I" might get confusing, since I am I, maybe I should call you You, since "Tones" could refer to someone else, perhaps not featured, perhaps not even visible, an imaginary producer perhaps...
okay, I'm by no means asking you to listen to one of my songs,
I've got over 700, and how would I tell you which one? Nope. Can't be bothered. I'm that old guy you pretend to be in your videos. Yeah, that's me, oddly enough, old fat guy with a beard. Yep. I will tell you, Dance Monkey is a heluva hit, and many artists try their whole life to duplicate the success of their first hit... Chubby Checker once did it, he had "Do The Twist" in 1960, then in 1961, scored with "Let's Twist Again (like we did last summer" ...
So what I'm going to tell you about, Dear Little Sister, is, when I heard Dance Monkey, it kick started a tune in my head, which I then slapped around the studio till it was a record, called "Monkey Shines"...
