This work consists of three sections. The first and third sections are mainly in an odd time signature of 13/4, while the second section includes march in 2/2, jig in 2/2 and reel in 2/2.

Music itself is mostly composed in an authentic way in the classical music except the many changes in the time signatures. I cannot explain why I employed such a way. It came into my head just like an inspiration. I wrote the sheet music as it was.

This piece is an opening track of my second album, "Waterloo Suite". It starts like an ordinary classical music with cello, oboe, harp and string orchestra. At 2:53 it changes to prog rock, and at 3:26 it changes again to avant-garde rock style.

I’ve tried this kind of Irish/Scottish trad in the piece “Highland Riding….” in the album “Precious Times”, but I have felt it has not been perfect for me. That’s why I made this one. I think it was improved more than the first trial!
Nice build up throughout the intro - great sitar soloing and rhythmic triplicates - cool change into a polka, does add that "Rock" feeling - reminded me a little of Styx here. Bravo!
Very dynamic, and engages ones imagination to sail into this journey. Love the build and progressions, sweet tones. Congrats on a fine production.
