Using the sounds of Panpipes, Handcrapping,Drums, Bass,Electric Piano and String-Mellotron-like Pads. I imagine Patrick Moraz on keyboards, Bill Bruford on drums and Richard Sinclair on electric bass,I don’t know if it works well.
This work consists of three sections. The first and third sections are mainly in an odd time signature of 13/4, while the second section includes march in 2/2, jig in 2/2 and reel in 2/2.
This is a kind of fight song or yell for someone flying away to the new worlds, including myself. I'm just starting a new job yesterday, September 11, 2023. The catchiest tune among my works by far.
Music itself is mostly composed in an authentic way in the classical music except the many changes in the time signatures. I cannot explain why I employed such a way. It came into my head just like an inspiration. I wrote the sheet music as it was.
This piece is an opening track of my second album, "Waterloo Suite". It starts like an ordinary classical music with cello, oboe, harp and string orchestra. At 2:53 it changes to prog rock, and at 3:26 it changes again to avant-garde rock style.
