I've been writing music since I was 14, been in and out of bands since I was 15, and I'm in a band right now. This is my solo project of sorts. Its a mixture of serious work and joke songs. If you can't tell the difference, then tough break.
I'm not a great singer, but I try.
I play guitar, bass, trumpet, harmonica, and piano/keys. Any drums you find here are most likely synthetic and programmed by me either through a drum machine or with notation software and a decent soundfont.
The music is a mixture of indie rock, classic rock, 90s music, and new wave. Its hard to really classify since I jump around from day to day on what kind of music I'm writing. I don't normally put a song up unless I'm, for the most part, satisfied with it.
Like I said, I've been in and out of bands, and this was the remains of a band I used to be the front man for. The band never went anywhere, but I still had songs I'd written. These are those songs, plus new ones.
I don't play live as of right now. I'd like to, but as of right now I'm not up to the level nor the audio quality to perform live. Many of my songs require backing tracks, so I'd have to have a decent sound quality to play along with it.
I think most influential to me would be the band American Football. Although now defunct, the lead singer Mike Kinsella's is still writing music that I enjoy.
Also I tend to listen to a wide variety of music, but mainly indie rock. Bands such as The Strokes, Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, and other such bands are influential.
Classic rock and new wave also played a big role in my music. There's many bands from the 90s (mostly grunge or alternative), as well as bands from the 80s like The Smiths or Bruce Springteen.

If you like something please tell me. If you don't like something, make sure your criticism is constructive. I don't stand for the "You should just stop singing." I may not be the best vocalist or musician, but I'm trying.
