The standard line I get is "I cant really say u sound east coast, west coast, or southern, you just kinda sound like YOU!" Thats all I ever wanted to do. You will not listen to my music & go "wow this is just like so & so's song". I will fight until my dying day to prove that without originality there is no art. I never try to keep it real on a track. I just do. I make music that I want to hear, & other people enjoy it, thats the way it is supposed to be done.
