My musical career began when, in the sixties as a very young man, I joined a band called "Ye Highwaymen" as the lead vocalist. After a few years we broke up but by this time I was truly bitten by the musical bug. Eventually I found my way into another band, initially as the lead vocalist, although after one of the band members left I doubled up as the rhythm guitarist. Much later in my career I began playing keyboard as well.
This was the beginning of my life as a vocalist/guitarist/keyboard player and thereafter I found myself playing in many bands over many years.
Those I remember were:
1960s
Ye Highwaymen
The Thirteenth Hour
1970s
The Haseldon Band
Dealer
The Mischief Band
1980s
The Mischief Band
1990s
The Mischief Band
2000s
Four Wheel Drive
During my time as a lead vocalist, I made various attempts to write songs, which I played with various bands at the time. Although I did not take song writing seriously I felt, given the opportunity, it was something I could do and would come back to at a later date.
Hence, it would appear my life has now gone full circle and although I no longer play live music, in the past few years I have written quite a few songs, eleven of which I have now produced and recorded.
I've now put them all together on an album titled My Time At Last.
