Jimple Borlagdan was born Jaime Jesus Borlagdan on March 6, 1979, in Tabaco City, Albay Philippines. He is better known in the Tabaco Underground scene as the front man and guitarist of the band, Krear Bathala.
Band/artist history
As heavy music is not his sole passion, being a voracious songwriter, a recognized poet and a visual artist, Jimple shares his mellow and easy side in this solo project. Though not necessarily light in content, the songs by Jimple are somewhat extensions, at best twins of those in Krear Bathala, only merrier and optimistic.
He is known in his hometown as a folk singer, and at one time as the “original emo”.
