Im just a working guy that loves to play music. Did some writing and recording in 2007 & 08 and here are some of the results. I do a solo acoustic bit locally now and havent played in bands for awhile but who knows what's next. Im always open to new stuff. I wrote, play all of the instruments and sing the songs that youre hearing. Also mixed and produced them in my home studio. Still compiling enough original material to fill up a CD but Ill soon be there. So much music and so little time! I know there are a lot of folks out there that are making music but not that many that do the entire thing. For this CD I really wanted it to be a TRULY SOLO effort! Anyway, I hope these tunes will keep you listening! Enjoy! All the Best- Acoustic Alternative Pat
Band/artist history
Some of the fine establishments Ive played recently in the Tampa Bay Area include: Ballyhoos Grille, Beef O Bradys, Cornerstone Pub, C. J.s Tavern, Tanya & Matts (a very cool place!), Taste of Safety Harbor, Hogans of Carrollwood, Beaks Old Florida, The Globe Lounge, Ricks on the River, Jakes Java Joint, Whistle Stop Grille, Dubliner Irish Pub, Gaspars Patio & Javatropolis. About My CD Movin the Beat, This 2007/ 2008 was a completely Solo Project. It is a collection of Original Music written, performed, recorded, mastered and produced in my home studio. It features Yours Truly on Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Harmonica and Keyboards. As you listen, please keep in mind that I am doing all of the vocal and instrumental parts. The only help is with that of a drum machine and a few audio clips off the Internet. Im Very Proud to call these songs Truly Individual Solo Works! - I hope you enjoy them!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play out whenever I get a chance and I do a weekly gig at a local coffehouse/ ice cream shop.
Your musical influences
Led Zepplin, Steely Dan, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Maroon 5, The Police, Dishwalla, Matchbox 20, The Cars, All the Motown Greats, ZZ Top, Queen (Brian May Rocks!), Toad the Wet Sprocket, The Beatles, The Eagles etc.
What equipment do you use?
I use Takamine, Dean and Gibson Guitars, Honer Harps, Casio Keyboards, Behringer and Marshall Amplifiers, JBL Speakers and Behringer Monitors. I also use an Alesis drum machine, Boss Loop Station and a Zoom effects pedal in live shows for a complete band sound.
Anything else?
I can't think of anything right now...
