I have been writing music since I was about 12. I have always loved music and I really truly think it shapes my life. I am glad to be blessed with the ability to sing and make good music. What I do right now is write hooks and songs for other people. I want to record my own music as well, but I have to start somewhere. I write my own songs (lyrics) and play with the piano a little bit. I just don't really know how to play with the beat making programs (yet) Right now I am just focused on writing songs and hooks for other people.
