8 gauge Syringe Started out in 2002 as a solo project of Skot Ruscitto after his last band The Living Dead Tree at the ass begining of 2002. Skot Started out to start an Elctro Project originally calling it Piece Corpse. Skot later changed the name to 8 Gauge Syringe. and for the later half of the Year Skot kept it to himself. until spring of 2003 when he started talking to Stitch about a possible collaboration. The talks went on until September. Then Skot met Aric Armbruster and he offered to start laying Guitars on the project. Shortly after Josh Howel was introduced into the mix and the 4 of them started working on thing shortly after in January of 2004 Josh left the band for his own personal reasons. So the trio of Skot, Aric, and Stitch until June of 2004 when Stitch also had to bow out of the band. Then Skot and Aric had to find a replacment keyboard player. So ebter Carmen Momnroe for a brief 3 week stint with the band. That ended because Carmen had things he needed to take care of. So the Search for a Keyboard player continued. 8GS soon then found Keyboard player Nikki Palmer (also of the band Prometheus Burning.) Also following on her heels Stitch rejoined the band as a Keyboardplayer. 8Gs made thier live debut. In November of 2004 at Everyday is Halloween 2.2. the band continued to practice, write and playing shows until April of 2005 when Nikki had to leave the band for time Constraints and her main band was picking up. Soon joing for yet another brief time was Bass Player Freddy Sing. He departed from the band in May 2005. Soon after 8GS sat down and rethought thier approach to the music and the style and aggresiveness we have put forth. Affter some thought we merged together with Horror metal band Faceless Fear who was out a singer at the time. The 2 bands merged together and created a metal Beast. Soon after in August of 2005 Stitch left the band. Due to work constraints. So mnow 8GS is just a Metallic beast. That will tear your head off.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes as much as possible. We play where eer when ever with who ever we just love the thrill. Yeah a show back in April of 05 where we left the crowd chanting our name.
