Mike S. Young is a guitar player and a singer...
a writer and a scholar.
Me...I play guitar and bass. I am more of a creator than a writer.
M. S. Young and I met in the very early 1990's. We became friends and eventually ended up in a band together in the mid-1990's. This band for me was about as exciting as sitting here now and writing this. The band dismembered a few years later after writing several songs and learning to play some of the "hits" of that time period.
Mike and I must enjoy one another's company as we are still frinds after 14 years. Now, these days we like to get together and record our ideas. It passes time, we enjoy it and it is a creative outlet that we sometimes need.
Soon, or even not so soon we do hope to form a nice live band. A band with no heirarchy, chain of command, eccentric egotictical demanding pushy members. A band with members appropriate to our goals. Enjoying our time with music and creativity.
Do we know such persons? No we do not, which is why we at this time have no band.Anything else?
We are posting some of our music and our ideas here so our friends locally and across the great country of America and beyond can hear our creations.
We are glad that strangers whom we don't khow can come across our "band page" and listen to our songs.
