Band/artist history
The beginning of 5 foot setback has been traced back to a tranquil baseball game in the summer of 2000. Sonny Thomas, then 11, and Will McCuddy, then 13, first came up with the idea of playing guitar together. Their friend Cooper Fleishman, then 12, was a drummer. They all had a little bit of experience. For months, they would practice in Cooper's living room, writing primitive songs. When 8th grade started, they found a bassist named Paia LaPalombara who was willing to buy equipment and be a part of it.
During the years to come, the band progressed into a strong melting pot of each member's unique musical taste, combining simple, powerful riffs and complex hardcore guitar work, with heart-on-sleeve vocals and stunning musicianship for a band so young. After playing out as much as possible in the Dayton area, 5 foot setback recorded two EPs in 2001 and 2002. In 2003 5 Foot Setback began recording their new album at New Eden Studios with new bassist Jeremy Saks.

Nice job on the song, it's cool as grape jello.
